Welcome to The Revolution.
You've just arrived at the razor's edge.

Like the working toils of the 17th century slaves the band's name shares its ancestry with, the process of creating the record, long and arduous, was a Herculean task from start to finish. Every aspect of the project was quite literally slaved over during a period spanning close to a decade. Blood, Sweat, and Tears. But then, What doesn't kill you only makes you stronger. Burlak represents a new generation, or revolution, of metal if you will. For a term that often gets tossed around carelessly, revolution is in good company with the band's music, which respectfully tips its hat to it's forebearers as much as it ploughs ahead like a tank setting new standards with an uncompromising cutting edge approach to the genre, replete with 21st century production standards, and a ferocity in its delivery unparalleled by many contemporaries. |
